How an individual perceives stress, how that person adapts to stress, and how the local (and global environment) shapes that person to stress will determine the attitude of a person to stress. Most importantly, what is stress?
For example, if you have parents who train you (direct and indirect training) to be light-hearted to tough situations, and helps you to learn the ability to find solutions to problems, even the toughest of stressful environment will become resolvable. I believe this graph is confined to one dimension, as with some of the other behavioural studies shared by wef, and many others in the literature.
